Projects >> National Industry Careers Specialist (NICS)
As part of a Federal Governments Career Advice Australia strategy the SA Health & Community Services Skills Board is part of a consortium appointed as the National Industry Careers Specialist for the health & community services sector. The national Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council is the lead agency of the consortium which includes Skills & Training Boards from all States.
The aim of the project is to deliver targeted, industry sector-specific quality career advice and specialist information including information on skills needs and labour market for young people aged 13 - 19 as well as the newly appointed Regional Industry Career Advisers. It will support the activity of the newly appointed Regional Industry Career Advisers in providing advice though Local Community Partnerships and directly to Careers Advisers.
