Practical strategies for engaging secondary students in health & community services career pathways

INVITATION

Health & community services are Australia’s third largest industry group employing 1.1 million workers or 10.4% of the total workforce. It’s forecast that the sector will have the fastest workforce growth with over 170,000 jobs to be created in the next 5 years.

This will provide many future career opportunities for young people looking to join the community services and health sector

The northern Adelaide region is recognised as conducting excellent career activities that connect schools, industry & training institutions to support health & community services career opportunities for students. Their achievements, what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next are all invaluable lessons for anyone who is striving to grow our future health & community services workforce.
