Conference Program Update

The afternoon of the Conference is dedicated to the future of SA and implications for the Health and Community Services Sector.

The Hon Paul Caica, MP, Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education is the keynote speaker examining the future of South Australia and the challenges for our sector.

The concurrent facilitated workshop sessions between 2.00-2.45pm are designed to give you an opportunity to hear from the speakers and then have your questions answered and problems solved.

  • Professor Anne Roche - Director of the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction

Workforce planning for the future

Human Services at Work Conference and Awards Dinner

We have had an excellent response to the inaugural  Awards for Excellence in Workforce Development.  The nominations are currently being judged by our expert panel: Professor Ed Carson, Dean of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation, UniSA; Chris Harrison, Director, Workforce Development Directorate, DFEEST; John Stokes, CEO, Australian Institute of Management and Grant White, Workcover/OH&S Coordinator, NASANSB, Nursing Agency Australia, and the finalists will be notified shortly.  The Awards will be presented at the National Wine Centre on Thursday 22nd May at 7.00pm.  To attend the dinner and acknowledge the great work being done in our sector please click here.
