The South Australian Government has initiated the development of Industry Workforce Action Plans in six priority industries as one element of the state's approach to establishing a skilled and sustainable workforce.

The SA Health and Community Services Skills Board is finalising the plan for health and community services.

The plan will build on what is already known about key workforce development issues affecting the current and future development of our industries and sectors and will identify high level strategies to address the challenges.  The plan will be transmitted to the South Australian Government in mid May 2010.
